National Alliance for Mental Health (NAMI)
NAMI is a mental health organization dedicated to supporting people affected by mental illness and their loved ones.

NAMI Family Support Groups are free and confidential groups for family members supporting someone with a mental health concern. Groups meet weekly, every other week, or monthly, depending on location.
Support groups are available across Washington State. You can also join groups from around the country virtually, even if you don't live there.

Family Alliance for Mental Health
Family Alliance for Mental Health has weekly support groups for caregivers with children who struggle with social, emotional, behavioral, or other mental health concerns. These groups are based in Thurston and Mason Counties, but all are welcome.
Support Groups for Parents/Caregivers meets virtually every week over zoom.

Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance
Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance offers free support groups and resources to get connected with other parents and caregivers who have children living with a mood disorder.
National Online Parent and Caregiver Support Group
Support groups are divided by age of your child. There is also a support group specifically for parents and caregivers of children who have been newly diagnosed with a mood disorder within the last six months.
Groups are listed on the Hey Peers platform and meet weekly. Signing up is free.
Stevenson’s P2P Support Network
A monthly online forum, hosted by Stevenson, that is free and open to parents and primary caregivers nationwide raising children and young adults with mental health concerns. Meetings allow people to share their experiences, resources, and offer support to each other.

Parents, Friends, and Families of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG)
PFLAG ​is a national organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and their loved ones.
TransFamilies
TransFamilies offers a Parents of High School and Young Adult Children Support Group that meets online to learn, talk, and share insights on caring for and raising gender diverse children. These groups are facilitated by Trans Families volunteers or staff members.
Registration is required and you must be a member of Transfamilies.org to attend.
